Red Lab Field Notes
The lab notebook, before it becomes doctrine.
What Field Notes Is
Most AI music advice is either polished theory or recycled tips. Field Notes is neither. It is the raw middle: dated production intelligence from an active AI music lab, posted while the work is still happening, before it has been processed into a book or a finished report.
You are not paying for polish. The free blog is more polished than this will ever be. You are paying for proximity to the actual process, the findings while they are still wet, the things that only exist because someone is generating real tracks, hitting real walls, and writing down what worked before it is safe to call it settled.
What You Get Each Week
Every week, at least one new note. Once a month, a State of Suno roundup that ties the month together. Three kinds of notes:
Platform Watch. How Suno is behaving right now and the workaround the lab is using. These take the kind of production volume you would otherwise burn your own credits to get.
Technique Note. A working method, raw and specific, with the actual prompts and the actual failures, not a clean tutorial.
Industry Read. The occasional piece making sense of news that changes how the work gets done, always tied to a concrete change in how I am working because of it.
You Watch the Research Happen
Every note carries a status, and the status is the point. Tested means it works and has held up. Provisional means it is promising but the loop has not closed. Superseded means something moved past it, and the note stays up so you can see what changed and why. Promoted means it matured into a permanent report or book section.
You are watching the research happen, not reading the press release. A Provisional note is not a weaker note. It is an earlier one.
Who It Is For
This is for creators producing real tracks who want to stay in control as the tools keep changing. It is one-directional intelligence: not a support line, not a Q and A, not a song-review service. You read over the lab's shoulder. That is the deal.
